My project spectrum yarn is now dyed and dried. Here it is!

Project Spectrum- June!!

I have been so busy lately, that I forgot to post pictures of my new attempts at dyeing yarn. I stumbled upon Wiltons cake dyes at Michaels. I am working on my project spectrum yarn. So far I like the way that the blues are comming out. I had to tweak the dyes a bit. Silly me, I thought that if you add a little black to the blue wiltons that it would make a darker blue... NOT! Actually I guess wiltons black makes pink... Hmmmmmmm. I will have to do the final rinse though so keep your fingers crossed and hope it stays blue.

Nephews Birthday

My oldest nephew recently had a b-day. He turned 10! My mom got the family together from Plano and I came down from houston and we threw him a lil party!!. Mom made pizza and A. got to eat cake with his brother and cousin.
